About Us
Founded in 2021, CT EMS Academy strives to make EMS education easier, more accommodating, and less stressful.
Currently offering HeartSaver CPR AED and First Aid, Pediatric HeartSaver CPR AED and First Aid, BLS For Healthcare Providers, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). We offer both initial courses for those new to medical field or looking to start a career, and recertification courses.
Our classes are offered either at a location of your choosing, or we can host the class for you!
Dylan Kessler B.S, NRP
CEO
Dylan Kessler has over 12 years working in EMS. His career began in 2009 as a volunteer firefighter and Emergency Medical Responder, before obtaining EMT certification in 2014, and Paramedic certification and licensure in 2016. Since 2016 he has worked in a variety of roles including Firefighter/Paramedic, Paramedic in an Urgent Care Center, and a Paramedic in urban and suburban areas of the North East.
As an instructor Dylan taught in the Springfield College Paramedic program as a Lab instructor, and has been teaching CPR courses since 2015.
Jon Reidy B.S, L.A.T, A.T.C.
Clinical Education Specialist
Jon Reidy has been working in and alongside EMS for over 8 years. He is a full time licensed athletic trainer, and an AHA BLS Instructor. Jon has worked for a variety of athletic organizations along the eastern seaboard, and is currently managing a team of athletic trainers in Massachusetts.
With CT EMS Academy Jon is an AHA BLS Instructor and will be introducing CME opportunities for Athletic Trainers. Jon will bring specialized knowledge of injury management to our EMS students, that they wouldn't get in any other program!
